Building Ecosystems

Sustainable building starts with thriving relationships between developers, architects, construction managers, city planners, and citizens. We help strengthen the relationships that encourage equitable and thoughtful development.

Economic and environmental stressors seem to pile up by the day in our world. While there are more technological solutions than ever, our success as a community is tied our our built environment being able to adapt and change.

Why Ecosystems?

We strive to build climate responsive buildings, in every sense. We build thoughtfully withing the economic, urban, environmental, and regulatory contexts of a project.

We rely on local ecosystems to remain informed, increase our effectiveness, and to capitalize on the expertise of those who know their towns best!

Our Homebase

Minneapolis / St. Paul

The Twin Cities is our testing grounds for new ideas and cold weather climate strategies. The core cities have put forth some of the most progressive zoning, bicycle networks and green building incentives in the country. Over the years, we have advocated for these changes as community members. Our focus here is on new construction housing infill with deep sustainability strategies that we have pioneered at the Sundial Building in South Minneapolis.
